I’ve been selling on eBay Australia for a number of years but it has been a while since I last listed something with the buyer paying shipping. I use my own packaging and cut down boxes to fit the article and used to be able to input the weight and dimensions of the package when using calculated shipping. I am trying to list a bunch of items and am only offered auspost options such as “Up to 3kg, up to 40x20x15cm” and “up to 10kg, up to 50x40x20cm”. What if my package is less than 3kg but the 45x34x18cm?
Is weight or size more important?
Is there a way to switch back to the calculated shipping?

Flat rate postage works with flat rate AP postage. Satchels or boxes. Size would be the indicator using 'own packaging'.
If you want to use calculated postage, under postage options where it shows 'flat rate', use the dropdown to select 'calculated postage'.
Prepare to be disappointed - the flat rate options are generally cheaper, if under 5kg, especially if using AP with AP packing options.
