Why am I being charged $8.80 listing fee for a domain name? Motors only get this?

Does anyone out there in eBay land know why I am getting conflicting advice from eBay?

I was told a while ago on the chat line, when I got charged $8.80 for listing my first domain name that it was a mistake and only motor vehicles had this fee.   Now I am told, again on the chat line, that anything listed under 'services' gets slugged with this fee.

On the spreadsheet for the fees Ebay provides, domain names are not mentioned at all.  So how this fee exists is beyond me!

Frustrated!

It's considered a service.

Select List of fees by category.

Services category incurs fees.

I would say the first time the call centre staff got it wrong.
