Why have my sales nosedived so badly? Is Ebay interfering in the selling process?

Why have my sales nosedived so badly? Is Ebay interfering in the selling process? I have promoted all my listings but made no difference.

Holy hell Chameleon! What a find. Must say I would've walked by it too, Well done! (And thanks for the tip also.)

Wow, who knew chook books would be so dear!? Reminds me of that Women's Weekly Children's Birthday Cake book, which used to be sought after (not $300 though), so much so that a new edition has since been printed. Probably not so in demand anymore.

Its a bit spooky really.

I was doing some research on book values a couple of weeks before finding the rare Holden book and came across a forum which discussed the book. That was the first I had heard of it. Within two weeks I found a copy. ( and havnt seen one since )

About a month ago I was researching the value of old car tool kits. While searching sold listings on ebay I found one that had sold for over $1000. The case the tools came in was pretty unique and highly sought after. About a week later I went to a clearing sale of a country mechanic that had closed down. Sitting in amongst a bunch of scrap car parts was one of the ultra rare tool boxes. A ten dollar bid and it was mine. Unfortunately no tools, but the empty box sold within 12 hours of listing on ebay to a U.S buyer for $250. + $60 postage.

Frankly I dont ever expect to see another one of those either.

It definately pays to research sold listings on ebay, but those two examples are a bit bizzare.
