40 free listings are issued at the start of the month for non store sellers. Did you not get them?

There is a thread lower down on first page of selling forums titled 150 FREE LISTINGS from SJBOWLES. This contains a link for 150 freebies that runs out tonight. Have you tried this one ?  It is invitation only and hasnt worked for most people but a few including myself have been lucky to recieve the freebies.

If it is any consolation to those that missed out, I have got 130 listings up, but not much interest. Seems many ebay buyers are on holidays at the moment and not looking at ebay.

Not looking good, mimi. I think all of us private sellers of personal items really need those extra freebies that you're referring to. However, no freebies, no extra listings, no sales, no fees. No extra profit for ebay, so we all miss out.

It's really not a good idea to become dependant on the free listing promotions as they could stop them at any time like they did to the stores. If the 40 free allocation isn't enough, open a new account. Then you can have 80 a month. I like the promotions as much as the next person does, but I am not dependant on them for the reason above. I wouldn't lose any sleep if they stopped them.

Hi tippy, definitely not dependent on them. Just good when they come. Will just list what I can when I can. Already have other ID, but grateful for your advice, as always. Cheers.

I spread my 40 out over the month so I have items finishing most days. Quite often I get to the end of the month and still have some left, so use them up quick smart before they get taken from me. Unless you have 10 day auctions or 10 day buy it now's, it's silly using them all up in the first couple of days. It means all the items will end before the end of the month and you'll have no listings!

I haven't been able to access any promotional listings on any accounts since last November.

I listed a stack of items in November, but with only 40 free per month since l have nearly 2000 items sitting in unsold sections now.I know alot of them will be 60 days old soon and disappear. All that time and effort to list them for nothing.

I can't afford a store or to list with listing fees, so free listings are my only option.  I pray they will happen soon.

Even with the 600 in November that doesn't seem right.
