Auspost and its contractors are frauds, well not all of them, some are great and do a womderful job, but others just dont. I have been doing a job were we (the compnay that is contracted to do this) track allsorts of items around the counrty. There are item senders and recivers. The items are different types of letters, parcles and registared post stuff. They all have a tracking device in side that autoscams when it goes through certain points (sorting office, post office ect...). All Items have a number and we record when we send and when we recive. Then send all items back to the compnay and they read the devices as well.
What this tells them were and when the delays happen, they happen a lot and some donteven turn up. With all scanned items. including the prepaid satchels (with a tracking number), can be pin pointed to who had the otem kast, wether that is a post office, sorting office, postie or contractor. Part of the problem is lazy workers who cant be bothered following procedure.
In saying this they need to start making workers, offices, contractors ect.... accountable formissing or very delayed items and Auspost coff up with the looses.
I wonder how quick things would change and how many "items" would suddenly be "un" lost.

If I lost something in my job, I'd probably end up in gaol, or at the very least, have the pants sued off me.

Now you will have everyone guessing what you do Sheepie. It makes sense to those of us that already know.

There's only a few people on here that know what I do outside of eBay. The others can keep guessing 😄

My local PO is not my local PO. But I know the bloke who runs it, and he knows it might be a few weeks between visits, so he NEVER does RTS stuff.
People skills can be handy.
