buyers who leave dozens of negs

I sold some books recently, seller paid but it took a week to clear on paypal?? never had that before..Send me question todday asking why I charged "so much" when it comes in a 500g bag. didnt sound right for 25 small books, turns ut from tracking they havent even arrived. I feel her tone was quite disagreeable. So I look at her feedback left for others, and sometimes she has left many in a row for different sellers, she has left many negs over the pages I looked at. Ive put a lot of hard work into this, what can be done if someone who shouldnt be on ebay leaves endless feedback like that?? Im surprised it is allowed. If you have THAT much bad luck why would you keep bothering?

and in my experience, this whole scenario never ends well....Id rather have not heard from her, now I feel like she is already setting a trap , one problem after sending often leads to a claim on arrival in my experience

" I feel like she is already setting a trap"

I would go radio silent.

If they open a case...Return for Refund...rinse & repeat.

most likely as its twice wrapped in two wraps, and cardboard, I full secure mail for trips to the east, plus ebay fees, it wouldve been a $14.50 bag...

sorry, should clarify i take ebay fees into account this year, and charge extra token amount for packaging which also increased as quality of mail delivery dove for me, with sudden upswing of broken items at one point, so packaging is a big cost to me now

I'll address most of these.

it took 5 days to clear Paypal because they used an echeque. Which means they didn't have enough money in Paypal and don't have their bank account linked to said account.

'didn't sound right for 25 small books'. Surely you know how you sent them. You shouldn't have to wonder about something like that. I also note that you have said probably a 3kg satchel. You really need to be a bit more hands-on if you're going to run an online business, especially on eBay.

She appears, from what you said, to be a serial online shoplifter. If you sell at BIN there's not a lot you can do about them except make sure the is and ts are sorted. Which means being proactive about things like uploading tracking. And knowing how you actually send things.

The buyer probably won't open a case as they will lose, at the moment. They also can't claim not received yet (maybe), so sit tight. They can certainly leave a neg, which you might be able to get deleted, depending how it's worded.
