would like to see which buyers thought me defective this time

Why is it that buyers can give glowing feedback saying how happy they are with the item, then give pathetic stars. That doesn.t make sense.

In My Ebay, go to the Account tab, click on Seller Dashboard, open out the orange flag, and towards the bottom of the box that opens up, click Download a Report. This opens a new window (you may have to re-sign in) and near the bottom of the page there is a link with Expand to see your most recent 20 defects. Click this and you will get a table with Item ID, Transaction ID etc etc, with a cross showing what sort of defect it was (cancelled, shipping time, description). Copy the Item ID (first column) and then open up another tab or window, go to ebay home page, click on advanced search, enter your item ID, check the box for completed sales, click Search and it will show you which item it refers to.
If you have sold more than one item that looks like this, you will neeed to check back through your invoices (or from the monthly invoice you can download from the Accounts tab) to see who you sold that item to with that item ID. Since all my items are one-offs, I don't have to do this last step.

Exactly the same happened to me. I have been on the phone twice to ebay about how unfair it is, since the buyer in question - who took 4 days to pay - and then I posted the following day and also marked the item as sent and added the tracking number, then left low stars for postage time, and low stars for description - although the item was a brand new product still in its box. Go figure. And ebay still haven't removed the defects, even though both people I have spoken to at length about it, agreed that it was unfair and said it would be fixed. As yet it hasn't been.

I still can't download reports, so if I want to check where a defect came from I have to go the long way about it ๐

Make that THREE times I have rung them about the same transaction. They are still 'investigating' it.

Well the date of the defect report was 10/10/14 and still said 5 defects as of that date!!!!! so where are the other 4 ...beats me I am still totally confused re these extra defects that they say is updated weekly..well it is not!

After three phone calls over the last 10 days to CS, and lengthy delays on each one when I was put on hold (don't they keep a record of these discussions???) as they reviewed the information they had, I received an email tonight which totally sidestepped the issue I was complaining about.
Part of the email reads: I carefully checked your feedback rating and I can confirm that there is no any negative feedback left by your buyer xxxx for the item xxxx nor any feedback which concern is about postage and item description.
Apart from the bad grammar, I can still see in my defect report that the transaction in question still has two defects showing - one for postage time and one for item description.
I am going to ring every day and keep complaining until they get it fixed.
