can't adjust invoices for sellers, help please

When a buyer has purchased multiple items and I click on send invoice, I adjust the postage amount and/or enter a discount amount, but when I click recalculate it doesn't make any changes to the total and remains as the original costings.  Any idea what I may be doing wrong?  Have checked ebay help but it's not clear...

Don't click Recalculate. It works like a reset button.

Amend your postage and click Preview if you want to check that the totals are correct and then Send.
