Re: click and send

Littlefrench..Hi... The problem is not that the cartridges are empty..They are full, but for some reason the printer is not working as it should...I don't have the time to mess around and try to fix it at this time ....when I do get the time ,hopefully soon, I will try to set it right.

Your statement is a little abrupt in assuming that I am an idiot who doesen't know when to change a cartridge... well.. although I am over 60, I still have all my marbles in place...

Re: click and send

She doesn't need another printer. She needs someone who can set up her computer and printer for her.\

See if you can find a friend who can help.

Failing that, I would suggest look it up online.

I was tearing my hair out last January, trying to figure out some glitches with our printer and I was under  the pump too, trying to churn out wedding invitations, so they had to be right.

I downloaded the manual instructions from the internet and then just went straight to the bits I needed, took a deep breath and read them. It did take 15 mins of my time but it paid off, i found parts of my printer I didn't even know existed.

If i can do it, anyone can.Smiley Wink

Re: click and send

There's a bit in the manual about installing cartridges too. We had trouble at first too with getting it to work even when new ones were in.

Re: click and send

Do you allow time for the printer to work?

When using Firefox for one account the printer takes over five minutes to start printing.

It then will only do half the label and then two or three minutes later it does the other half.

On the other account I use Google Chrome and it prints straight away.

So there is nothing wrong with my printer, just the communication between it and the PC when using FF
