dodgy buyer problem

about 20 minutes ago i got an enquiry from a buyer in singapore requesting postage cost.

i messaged back i dont post to asia then put a block on his user name.

his username was registered today!

so now the item has sold to what i believe is the same person using another new username.

Re: dodgy buyer problem

I would also use ebay's shiny new report a buyer system.

https://www.ebay.com.au/help/selling/resolving-buyer-issues/report-issue-buyer?id=4084&st=12&pos=1&q...

Since this is a new system that ebay have just implemented, it might get more attention internally. Plus if enough sellers use it regularly, it might make a difference.

Re: dodgy buyer problem

David if you block both of the WA options it is very effective in blocking all WA buyers.

I tried to buy from an overseas seller who had those blocks for every state in Australia and when I asked he told me that it was the only way he could find to say he did not post to Australia at all.

thats what i have done, lets hope he hasnt got friends in another state

looks like he tried a friend in singapore first but i blocked that one so he then got a friend in WA to buy but using his paypal.

would there be any point in alerting paypal to this activity?

Re: dodgy buyer problem

I know that any international aspect might complicate things, but try ACORN
