eBay $25 credit rort

I recently got the offer from eBay regarding offering a $25 voucher for every $100 in sales (up to $75 total voucher)

the voucher never arrived, I made sure I complied with all the offers terms and conditions.

the final response from customer service 'oh dear that's terrible,we will pass it on to marketing who should be able to process the voucher in 10-21 BUSINESS DAYS'. (the voucher was due 11th July.)

so much for 'customer service'., from other complaints in the forums this is starting to look like a known eBay 'scam' by eBay themselves!!!!!

You have only been waiting for 4 days....some of us have waited a lot longer than that for vouchers to be processed.

Re: eBay $25 credit rort

I think the OP is referring to selling vouchers though,  Lyndal

Re: eBay $25 credit rort

I know it is selling vouchers but they still have to be processed by ebay just as the buyer's vouchers do.

Any delay is pretty poor but I would hardly call it a rort.

Re: eBay $25 credit rort

When you are looking for an excuse to bash eBay, anything will do.

I wonder why some of these people persist - they seem to have no end of issues, continually have problems... it is almost like they haven't read the terms and conditions of using the site (which they have explicitly agreed to) or the terms and conditions of the individual promotions (which they have explicitly agreed to).

A bit like asking why they have more free store listings left than they thought, 3 months after the promotion started.

It seems many sellers have no idea what is going on because they don't bother reading the eBay notifications of what is going on.
