I can not believe what eBay charges sellers on an International Sale when you check the Fee's structure.
eBay adds item total + shipping cost + GST/VAT Tax customer pays eBay = complete Total.
Then Selling Fee's are charged on this total & then they add on an extra International Fee.
This is completely outrageous and is a complete SCAM eBay is charging sellers.
The import Tax a customer pays eBay (eBay is then supposed to pay to the relevant government?), How can eBay then charge a seller the 10.7% on this Tax amount (Yes they are charging sellers this !!!).
Also the international shipping cost which is normally what it actually costs a seller to ship it, eBay then takes another 10.7% fee off the seller from that aswell.
This is a complete rort eBay is ripping sellers clean and they should take a serious look at the way they are charging their Fee's.
1.) Charging a selling Fee on the actual item cost, Yes that's what all sellers agree to & that is fair.
2.) To actually still charge sellers FEE's on the shipping cost & on the import Taxes - this is a complete & utter rort eBay is ruining sellers by doing this - it should be illegal & is completely immoral.
Let's all let eBay know they are doing the wrong thing here...

We do know the fee's and accept them on the item, there's no issue there.
My point is eBay should not charge Fee's on the Taxes which a Zero to do with sellers & they should not charge sellers on the international shipping cost which eBay calculates...
I have let them know & want to let other sellers know (some don't realise they're also paying extra fee's on these parts of a sale), the more sources that eBay gets contacted from about these immoral charges, the slightly better chance we have of them correcting it.

You know the fees before you list and you agree to those fees by proceeded
You yell it is a scam yet you support it by agreeing to it
Makes no sense
'let's all let eBay know'
You can let eBay know
They rarely read the member to member forum
They never take suggestions

I have more sense than to sell overseas, as I am fully aware of eBay's charges. Which have effectively been the same for years.
I also don't use calculated postage, as I am fully aware that eBay has no idea, even domestically.
My suggestion is not to sell OS, or work out the costs yourself and price your items accordingly.

I suppose they could make you collect and remit international taxes yourself, now wouldn't that be fun.
They could set a flat rate administration fee to cover this service, or like some other entities tasked with tax collection and remittance, a set fee + %.
I for one am quite happy with current system, and considering the alternatives I doubt there would be much support for change.

Sounds like a good plan
OP wants to let eBay know they are 'doing wrong' so they can suggest that as the better way to go and get support to make it happen
