Is anyone else experiencing a high rate of eCheque failures at the moment?
I ask because all three of the eCheques I have received in the last week have failed - two were from the same buyer, though, and when they replied to my message they said it was a PayPal issue (i.e. they had plenty of funds, but PayPal weren't clearing the payments anyway). This particular buyer is actually on my BBL (for non-payment) and used another account to make the purchase, so the history isn't too crash hot, but I've now received notice of another eCheque failure from a different buyer.
I know it could just be a coincidence, but thought I'd check to see if this is a genuine issue affecting others before I decide how to proceed with these cases.

Yup, had somebody pay something that came through as an echeque on Monday 8/9 and the notification said it should clear 11/9 but, it actually cleared 13/9.

At least it cleared. ๐
I don't think my current transaction is going to end well, judging on the response I got from the latest buyer (they don't seem to understand why I haven't posted yet because the money came out of their account last week, and I got a "hurry up and reply" kind of message half an hour after an original message, when I happened to be out posting items).
I also have a UPI open at the moment for one where an attempt has been made several times now to pay via eCheque. I was able to close the case as of last night, notification came through of eCheque failure mid-morning so I sat there and thought, hmm...do I close it now or try to contact them one last time? (They haven't responded to any messages, just keep trying to pay) and then I got notification of yet another eCheque being initiated.
