Hi everyone,
Just wondering has anyone experienced this problem? I stopped selling for a long time, and started about 2 months ago. There is selling limit on the account, which I understand.
I called up ebay to have the limit increased about 20 days ago, and they did. And soon after that, I cannot add quantity to any of my existing items, nor can I list anything.
It is definitely not selling limit problem, coz I got plenty left, both quantity and dollar amount.
I reported the issue to ebay, after a few phone calls (about 45 mins each though), and a dozen emails, ebay understood what the issue is, and confirmed that it is system error, and I am not supposed to get this error msg. I was so happy that they finaly understood the issue and was hoping it gets resolved shortly.
It has been over 15 days, I basically called everyday, averaging being transferred through three departments, and had to explain the issue to every representitive. And I emailed eBay everyday. eBay is basically saying to me: technical team is looking into the issue, they will not respond to you, once problem is resolved, it is done; keep trying either listing items or increasing quantity, problem is solved if the system allows you to do it.
Has anyone had this problem before? And how long did ebay take to solve the problem? And any suggestions from you?
I am very unsatisfied, and extremely frustrated. To be honeset, very very angry and wanna.......you probably understand what I am trying to say lol.

nick I understand it may sound silly but have you actually logged out of eBay and then logged in again with your seller account?
sometimes it is somethig as simple as that, that is needed to trigger the new limit.

I have tried that, which did not change anything.
And here I am.....on the phone with ebay, 4th department being redirected to...48 mins so far...
first rep: i will redirect you the right department, I promised..
second rep: oh, wrong department, I promised you I will get you to the right on, you have my words...
I can't help laughing....
third: oh...wrong again, directing you to........
NOW: listening to the nice music on the phone...

4th rep: just spoken to technical team, they advised there is a technical problem with ebay system, they are asking you to end all your listings, and create them again, problem will be solved.
me: one of the main reason I am calling everyday is my listings are selling out, I do not want them to end but instead would like to keep history of every listing.
reply: so just end one
I ended one, the least selling one, logged out of ebay, logged back in...
DA Da......STILL THE SAME PROBLEM......
me: end all items did you say?
reply: sorry, I do not want to waste any more of you time, I will contact technical team, and I will get back you within a day, you have my words......
Now I can enjoy my happy day!!!!!
