Ebay have now opened a fake acount in my mothers name twice in 18 months. The first time there was also a paypal account. as of today we have only recieved the second ebay collection from ARL.
Why are they stupid enough to do this.
It stresses my elderly mother out and i would think, stresses the poor seller who was conned.
Any answers?

Okay - OP - contact the emailer and pay them.
Jeez Lyndal, get off your high horse and read the other threads that relate to this scam.
I spoke to eBay & Paypal and NO they DO NOT use ARL in these matters - what ARL do have is a website that makes it very easy to copy 'legit' looking documents for the scammers.

Whoa - what on earth have I ever done to you ?
If this is retaliatory because I was rude on another thread - go and check my reply to you - it was NOT my response to the OP over there you reacted to, it was another poster.
To clarify - ARL is (as Lyn said) a registered company - the letter a friend of mine received was from ARL - Aust Receivables Limited - this is how I knew it was fake as ARL is Aus Recoveries Limited - sorry for any upset caused.
*shakes head*
Oh and I can admit - I am often 'wrong' but there are ways to point out errors without being snotty about it.
