feedback neg after positive pickup?

rather peeved -approaching 5000 positive feedback and wake easter morn to find I've been neged.

 

I know it happens to most of us.  However this looks to be new ebayer who emailed me asked for $2 reduction on buy it now price - I agreed - less than 12 hrs to go so said just pay $10 on pickup.

 

They paid me for the bag, said their daughter would be very pleased with the brand name bag.

 

a) does PS status protect me for 8 days prior to leaving feedback still?  perhaps it does as it was picked up last sat they've waited to leave nasty feedback...

b) no contact since the pickup re their new dissatisfaction

 

I've emailed them, sent thru a revision of feedback and replied to the feedback.

 

this has happened before.  the pickups have been pleasant chatty and then down the track you get a neg.  these two faced people really upset me - they come to my home - are friendly and then this. I allow pickups to get more buyers, save them money and me the 10% and most of the time its convenient.

I also straight away gave them positive feedback as I saw no reason not to and to get their new account off the ground, broke my rule of never leaving feedback first.  How silly was I? 

 

anything else I can do?

i would of checked with ebay as it was a pick up and they claim not as discribed, as its a pick up and can check the goods before excepting the bag ,if its posted well thats another story

further to my initial post I note this buyer has neged 5 sellers including me in the past month....looks like they are quoting them "money hungry" wanting something for close to nothing.   (think I made a profit of $2 on this transaction could have done without the hassle..)

 

can I bring this to ebays attn?  that they need to go thru the feedback tutorial... doubt ebay would listen

 

should I block the buyer as I have two accounts and gave them my card, or will that stop any feedback revision requests?

I would certainly whack her on your "Special List". The Neg is deliberate. No mistake there at all.  ๐Ÿ˜ž

Nothing you can do really - you could appeal to Ebay and point out her many negs... id probably report her in the least (and block her).  But I doubt that will get you anywhere.

 

Firstly, when you reply to feedback, put the buyers name in there to help warn other sellers of a buyer who contantly leaves negs. Then we can block them. Otherwise, Ebay blocks their name out on your feedback, and we'll never know who it was.

 

I have in the past contact buyers who have left negs when asking them to revise their feedback  and told them about how the defect system works - almost all of them had no clue, Ebay doesnt exactly advertise it. . As a new buyer, I doubt she has any idea that false negs or prolific negs can be bad for her, or that it can lead to people being banned *forever* & businesses destroyed.

re the replying to feedback Gtx - confused?  you mean when I reply to feedback no-one can read in my feedback who left me the neg?  I thought you can see it thru feedback view.?

Had a similar situation. Item was picked up (it was a textbook). I always say to my customers, please make sure you are "happy". She was. Left good feedback, BUT, marked my DSRs extremely low for Not as Described - very unfair!

hard to contact ebay re feedback issues, you're mostly faced with a contact email option however when I did get on the phone and pointed out they hadn't been a member for even a month they'd made a pattern of neging 5 sellers - they have been reported to the trust and safety team to be investigated.  we don't need buyers like that in our community.

I am also relieved that the supervisor agreed to remove the neg which includes the dsrs, likely because of this pattern and the pickup up inspecting goods upon collection.  they also agreed BLOCK block block.....
