Have you offered the choice of them direct debiting into your bank account? If so they may have paid you via bank deposit and clicked on payment sent to let you know that the money is on it's way (can be between 3-7 business days depending on your bank).
Until you are sure what is happening maybe best to go back and unclick "accept payment" which you can do.
Also email the buyer as they may be able to clear this all up within a reply email.
Good luck ๐

When you receive a Paypal payment the $ symbol automatically turns blue. If you are waiting to receive a Paypal payment your buyer hasn't paid you yet. Can you tell us what the situation is ?

Also - never post an item until you are sure you've received payment.

Are you 100% sure the email address you used for payment in the listing was correct? ie the same as your PP account?
The only time I have ever known someone to be asked to accept a payment was when they didn't have a PP account or the email address used was incorrect for the PP account

It's odd, because I recently purchased an item from a seller I have bought from many times, and when I paid via PayPal it came up and said the seller hadn't accepted it. When I went into PayPal, it said the seller wasn't registered when clearly, she is.
I then noticed my seller had her store on vacation mode so when she returned, I explained what happened. She couldn't fix it so we ended up having to cancel the transaction and start again.
OP, any chance you have a store that was also set to vacation mode?
