Re: hello...selling clothes

If the clothes have details like unusual buttons, buckles, pockets, prints, take a close up picture of it.  I find sometimes a close up photo of the material can some show the colours a bit better.  Some people like to know what the back of the clothing looks like as well.  I don't understand why some people have photos of the front of clothing and each photo looks like they've taken about 2 steps to the left or right.

I don't know if you consider shoes as clothing, but whenever I look at shoes on ebay I really dislike seeing the shoes being worn in the photos.  I don't want to see who's dirty feet has been wearing the shoes.  If they are pre owned, show pictures of the bottom of the soles and inside if possible.

If you are selling pre owned or new with defects shoes and clothing, be honest about anything wrong with it.  I think it's best to take a photo of any faults because sometimes people don't read the description properly.

not_an_eloi I know I am suggesting something very radical and OTT but have you thought about washing your track pants?

Or do you just buy new ones when the old ones need washing?:^O

1 Always take pics of ebay items when you and your partner have their clothes ON

2 Be wary of "reflection"

Re: hello...selling clothes

Editing and cropping your photos. In particular make sure you do any coloutr adjusting to match actual in editor, take into account item may look different shade in artificial and natural light.

Any fragrance in parcel with "marinate" and increase in post.

Items less than 500gm are more economical.

See if you can flatten small items to in zip lock bags to pass as letter rates.

If you sell international use international registered to cover yourself against item not received claims

Dont sell anything that is not in top condition,. Ordinary mundane items with little WOW factor are asking for poor feedback for little profit. Not to mention high fees for no sales. It is the items that dont sell that ruin your odds of making an overall profit.
