how come I can't get cash on pick up as an option when listing?

When I go on other people's items I see the option "cash on pick" up but I don't know how I can. I only get "cash on delivery" as an option plus paypal and the other options.

Lol now I have just followed the advice by others above, and been able to add pay on pickup from options box above.  So the default on older accounts must be set without this option.

On one of my newer new ids that requires selling policies - the default payment policy if you do not make any choice also excludes payment on pickup.  But you can create policies that include it.

My apologies if I have misled anyone. Goodness knows what pop-up I did not read properly .....

You mean I don't get to use "reasearching very important info" as an excuse for not doing all these other menial tasks I've been putting off for the last week...?

I've setup Business Policies on the one ID that has it available, as a trial run because it's still not available on our selling IDs.
