how do you change payment details after an item has sold?

HI there, I am still new at this Ebay platform. I have sold an item using the Auction format and cited the payment details to go through the Paypal system. The buyer has asked me for my banking details because his Paypal "is not working" and claims that all the sellers that he has dealt with have changed to providing their banking details. I do not know hoe to do this, and I also don't know how the payment for the item .will be recorded through Ebay. Any advice please.....

You can send him your bank details through the PM system if you are happy to accept this form of payment.

It's good for you, less fees and the buyer can never raise a claim against you!

Then you go in when you receive the payment and mark the item as paid

BUT, if you have the time, you really should encourage the buyer to sort out their PayPal, for their own protection. Whilst not necessary, it would be a nice thing to do. I reckon once they realize the potential dangers and ramifications of Bank Deposit, that they'll be glad to work it out.
