It was my Harley.
The mind boggles why someone would go to that trouble for a bunnings item.

As far as my local post office for pick up (about 2.5 km round trip but I walk...)
Had one thing delivered from interstate but wasn't going to travel to get it, it was a desk.
trains are comfortable enough if you can get a seat, hope your buyer didn't have to wait too long between the two each way, that's the tedious bit.

Had A Lady Drive from Ceduna West Coast of SA to pick up a teapot in Adelaide About 8-9 hour drive. She paid with Paypal and I offered Registered Post for Free. She declined and drove just for this one item for her daughters birthday. I asked why? and she said I dont Trust Australia Post... Umm Fair enough she was happy I was very happy $400 Item...

that beats mine , I sopose a tea pot is a bit fragile,
for my buyer who by the way was rapped that he did not have to wait for a bus and go to the railway station,
going by the buyer lived 1km from the railway station ,then caught 2 trains then a bus ,then to me ,a small walk , and then do it back again , minimum 4 hours up and back ,I would say total 100km up and back.
