I would be factoring how much my time was worth, too, for a trip like that. Well, you are a nice fellow Joe. Have a good night.

I had a buyer once whose hubby was a truckie. She was based in Victoria and I was in WA so he turned up with his truck one day to pick up an item.

Joe - yes he was but he drove about an extra 60km from where he was dropping his delivery to come and pick up the item. It was a quilt cover set which could have been posted quite easily but that is what he decided to do.

Hubby and I drove to Melbourne once to *view* a car before deciding whether to bid or not. 9hr trip one way. We stayaed overnight and came back the next day. We did not put a bid on the car. (vintage car)
Having said that, a guy from Victoria bought our own vintage car off ebay, and he drove to us (NSW) to first view it and take it for a test drive, then a week later to pick it up after winning the auction. He had further to go on his trips.
I have often travelled to Sydney or to ACT to collect items. I dont mind the travel really. (3hrs each way to either capital)

The next suburb. But I am only a buyer for AP posting products, so I have NFI.
