I hvae just had a  email sent to me asking if I will reduce my seel now for Price, is there a way to check if the person is reputable?

I'd recommend just suggesting they place a maximum bid for what they're wanting to pay for the item and let Fate take it's course as I've prevviously done when asked the same thing.  The Buyer that asked ended up winning the item at a price less than they were prepared to pay as a Buy It Now.
