is this a bit harsh? email to dim buyer

This buyer didn't respond to any emails I sent where I was explaining the problem I was having and this morning sent me another email .. get this...on the tail of one of the ones I sent her telling her that her item will be posted Sat or Mon!!!! I'm wondering if she even read the others. I'm feeling so cross with her right now but I don't want it to leak into email. Know what I mean? but I do want to get across that I kept her in the loop.

is that polite enough?

Hi, if you recall, I sent you emails on the 19th and the 21st telling you about the email address problem. I realize that the problem was entirely on my side but you have to realize that the problem meant I did not receive your payment which was what I was trying to tell you on the 19th and 21st. I also sent you an email on the 22nd apologizing again and to tell you that it had been resolved and your item would be in the mail Sat or Mon (didn't know if I'd have a car Sat morn to get to PO). I got to the PO on Monday and it was posted then. I have kept you informed all along the way of what the problem was and have apologized several times. Depending on Australia Post, you should receive your item shortly. again, with apologies for the delay.

I would not have been able to sell here consistently - and to a number of repeat customers - if I didn't understand the importance and value of good customer service.

My point was that I also will draw a line, as should anyone else. I'm a seller, not a servant.

That's exactly what I'm saying. I'm sick of the thought of people walking all over me trying to honestly sell a few things... I know, in time, it's going to happen, which is why I probably come off negative on here alot. You can only be so accurate in your listings... without driving you up the wall trying to think about how it can be perceived as "not as described" by a dodgy buyer.

I still am not sure if the buyer got the emails because if the seller was having problems with their emails then they buyer might not get those sent by the seller.

Do you know for sure the buyer received all your emails?

I have enjoyed the interesting comments here.

I have purchased a lot from ebay, and i do repeat my sales to sellers who provide good service. I do get anoyed with the ones who sell what they don't have for sure to sell. We are in an instant gratification society. I expect, once I have paid for something up front, that the seller will do their part and send it. Otherwise i will go to a walk in store. I am off topic now.

With regards to the Woman and the email, so long as you post via ebay, there is an email sent to thier account and kept on record. If she doesnt read it, at least you have a record. I dont like it when people send emails direct and bypass Ebay. This is mainly done for dosgy reasons.

To all who posted on here, thank you for the insight. I can see why those with high sales numbers get those statistics...it shows by thier comments and positive attitude. I am on a tiny phone here, so i hope this all reads correctly.

Thanks all

I think the letter draft by *bad*angel* sounded quite good, but wonder if I could ask him a question? Why do you suggest people  ignore your replies in your bottom line area? It seems a bit pointless replying
