I'm guessing they're not germophobes.

Personally, I wash all second hand items that I buy, but not all people have the same hygiene standards.

Many sellers are noticing a drop in sales.

People are doing it tough  these days and reserving their money  for essentials like food, bills etc.

Your items aren't essentials.
