I still think that neut was what done it for the seller Stawks, well the idea to send items the way they do. Really thinking about it if a seller got a neut normaly you would try to fix the problem to reduce that accuring again (thats my way of thinking any way).
If the seller does not put a return address on it id say they are droping the envelopes in the red post boxes on the street.

Re: now I know why a post loose money

But how many buyers even look properly at the envelopes if it has been a apinless transaction and the goods arrive promptly?

Why should they look any more closely at the packaging than they have at the original listing.....and we all know most/many buyers don't read what they are buying.

Hay Lyndal, maybe the seller will try to put your orders in one envelope 😉

joe, I think the neut was hinting along the lines - very subtly & the dings for postage say a lot.

All be it that this is all a bit of fun, to be truly honest, it's sickening to think sellers like this get away with such fraud & dishonesty & yet others who are honest & receive unfair defects are banned !

Re: now I know why a post loose money

I just googled "postage paid Australia" and there are a lot of people who say mail like this won't be delivered without 'paperwork' over the counter OR charged through a company's 'mailroom'. Some have said you might get away with a couple of items here and there, but if they are placed in a red mail box, they will be rejected upon sorting ......... well, I'm curious. Perhaps this seller is putting items through a company's mailroom - perhaps he works in a mailroom or even works for AP .........?

To be honest Lyndal, I think it would be glaringly obvious to most buyers, given the envelopes he is using, particularly when it is from someone you would not usually be receiving mail from.

I wonder have any been Returned to Sender Smiley LOL ?

Mmm, good thinking, I was sure Postage Paid was scanned within a business's mailroom or at the PO, so yes, quite possibly either of your suggestions could be correct   Smiley Happy

pens are ok under 20mm    but 50 plastic bags bent in half were  a squeeze.

this is only a small seller , but what if bigger sellers are doing the same .

Joe, neither the pens nor the bags should have been sent as they were both well in excess of 5mm, the maximum allowed for a small letter. The 20mm you mention only applies to large letters which these post-paid business letters aren't.

Incidentally, although the bags provided are very useful, they are not reusable press-seal bags but empty commercial retail bags which have not yet been stuffed and sealed, and neither have I ever seen them available for retail sale, so my bet is that he's knocking these off as well and selling them.

The plot really thickens doesn't it.  I'd have to guess the envelopes are all from his own mail.

I'm curious tho cq - what are 'empty commercial retail bags' ?

And I'd lay odds he's knocking off everything he sells - just gotta wonder why at such low prices ?

The bags he's selling are cellophane rather than soft plastic and are the type usually purchased in bulk by wholesalers who then insert their own items into them prior to sealing them at the bottom rather than the top, as the top has been pre-punched with a hole for hanging on a display. The image below will give you a better idea of what I mean.
