I had sold item and buyer sent message he paid the item thru paypal. The paypal & ebay sent me also message that item was paid. But I have not received payment on my bank account yet. Also in ebay selling/sold board, it says "awaiting for payment 1".I am confused that there is no actuall payment in my bank account.
Can anyone help me how is the processing of paypal, how many days before payment will be credited in my account when someone paid the item that I posted on ebay?
Thanks

Did you only sell the one item?
The best thing to do is read the email from PayPal or check your PayPal account balance - if the buyer has completed checkout with PayPal, but your dashboard is still saying awaiting payment, the buyer may have paid with an eCheque (this will be indicated on eBay by an hourglass icon, or the transaction will have a red flag if you look at it in your PayPal account).
If they did pay with an eCheque, it will first take around a week to clear to your PayPal account before you can withdraw it to your bank account. It's safe to post the item once the funds have cleared to PayPal.

also, the full amount of the sale will not be credited to your PayPal account. PayPal take their fee from the amount before it is available for you to use. The PayPal fee is 30 cents + 2.4% of the total amount deposited (i.e. final price + postage).
You can safely leave the money in your PayPal account and use it to fund any purchases you make on eBay. When you pay for items from your PayPal balance the funds are transferred to the seller immediately which is better for you than funding purchases from a bank account as an e-cheque takes days to clear. Leaving it in PayPal also makes the payment of eBay fees simple as well (9.9% of the final price of your item).

Thank you to all the replies on my quiry. But the payment did not really happen. The buyer is a fraud. The email that I received from Paypal is fraud, I had rang and confirmed paypal if they can check all hidden records for me like the cheque that you are saying. Yes cheque is normally on hold but Paypal customers service had checked that I do no have on hold payment made by anyone. Then the ebay email too is fraud, because I had inquire to ebay australia if the email is legitimate. Actually, the buyer is fraud. I had send him email asking him to send me copy or record of his payment transaction but he did not reply anymore. He can't provide receipt of payment like we do have whenever we pay on paypal. THANK YOU TO ALL WHO REPLIED AND FOR ME, IT IS GOOD THAT I EXPERIENCE THIS. This is learning process.

Good that you have found this out. If you clicked on any links in the fake emails then you should run all your virus software on your computer and change all your password on any logins (PayPal, eBay, emails, bank etc) that you use on your computer.
