Hi yes I have been following that thread and lodging a complaint as well. Thanks for the heads up. Its all about people power. The down side to this is as a seller I do buy on eBay and cant, sure I could use my credit card but why should I have to when I have ample funds in my paypal account, I have sales that even my buyers are also sellers have to wait because their accounts are frozen. I spoke to paypal for the umpteenth time last night and it seems that even when they release the money your put on a good behaviour bond if you have five complaints regarding your sales they will freeze you out again. I have never had any complaints at all ever on any ID's seems they just make up the rules as they go along.
I so wish that some one in big business would step up to the mark and give eBay and paypal a run for their money.

We sold one thing last two weeks ago and we were pretty unhappy to have our money frozen for 21 days. During our listing creation we were not told of this hold, we were simply told how much the fees were and what we would have left. I was pretty annoyed
To be fair to Paypal though the SECOND the item was shown as delivered (we used ebay postage) i rang up paypal and they instantly released the funds to us over the phone after they saw it as delivered.
Only 8 days into the hold
hope this heps

I opened a second eBay account, but use the same PayPal account for two shops. Despite shop 1 trading for 15 years and US54k in sales, PayPal are still imposing a 21 day hold on payments to the new store:
These terms are nonsense for sellers who have sales history.

And this has relevance to a 3 year old question, how?

Did you even read the replies to see what others did to stop the hold on new accounts? Obviously not.

Under the couch? On top of the fridge?
I have no idea, nor has any other member on this board. We are just eBay members, similar to yourself. This thread is many years old, so it is not a new issue; if you bother to read it, assuming you're complaining about a Paypal hold, you will know as much as the rest of us.

Check in the bottom of the washing machine. There's nearly always money floating around in there.
