"Letter box slot" editing window

Hi,

Anybody else find that new "letter box slot" editing window utterly infuriating and hard to work with? Updating item detailed item description, i.e. many words, is like trying to assemble a model sail shipping inside a glass bottle.

Can the size of the editing window be increased?
