I put my store on holiday mode for a while.. came back and my search ranking took a dive and lost sales by 80% or so,... I was contemplating wheather putting holiday mode on but with items up but I'm glad I remvoed listings even if I lost a fair chunk of sales.. other wise eBay would probably banned me for excessive reds on my account.

As far as I know, Holiday Mode and setting your listings to a 0 quantity and keeping them active is only for stores. If the OP doesn't have a store and items still have free relistings left, and you don't want to end them all, what I'd do is, increase the price to an unsaleble amount so no-one will buy them. Then when you get back, drop the prices back to what they are now.

I tried to END all items but ebay won't let that happen because "they are auction style"... BRAVO ebay, bloody off course they are. I can END each item idividually and wasting my time on nonsense. What is the point ebay?
