You could be right but I think I would still have asked the buyer to wait a few more days to see if it turns up.
What estimated delivery date did it give on your ad as 4 days after a sale seems very quick for someone to be asking for a refund.
It could very well not have been delivered yet but may turn up in the next few days & that could have solved your problems.
If you think it is just someone who is going to lie anyway, at least make them go to a bit of trouble before you automatically refund, although of course you would have had to eventually without tracking.
You could still block them from buying again even if you had asked them to wait a few more days..

Check the buyer's feedback left for other sellers. This may give you an indication if they often don't receive parcels.
extremely poor on the buyer's part to not even contact you. Where was the buyer's location? If they are in a state where delivery takes longer than 4 days that's really poor form.
I would email the buyer and politely state you have refunded their payment but should the item turn up you would appreciate the buyer sending payment.

I check buyers feedback points every time. This buyer only has 12 points, only purchased from me during the past month, so it is difficult to check what the buyer said about the other sellers.

If it is someone new to ebay they may have been very nervous, especially if they have had, by any chance, had a bad experience earlier. Even if all the experiences have been good, they might still be nervous with this form of buying.
A soothing email to explain it could take a few more days but to contact you again in eg 4 days if it has not arrived by then might help as they would see you were responsive.
Oh well, the refund is done now, let's hope they are as quick to repay as I would be willing to bet the item will arrive.

As a new seller, maybe I am also too nervous and scared, just try to do everything to make buyers satisfied. This is the first buyer requested refund without sending me message, really made me nervous and think the buyer won't like communication at all.
Well, refund has been made, hopefully the buyer will repay if items arrive.
But again, should I block this buyer?
