Re: silly question from a buyer

Yes, there are some pretty interesting questions we all get ..... but imagine the sorts of questions teachers get ...... or government leaders !!!  You would be surprised at some of the questions that very intelligent people ask !!!!

I have had a couple of dooseys on ebay mssages.  Not everyone realises that sellers on ebay can be large retailers, medium-sized businesses or just people downsizing & decluttering (like me).  From some of the unusual questions I've been asked, you would think that I am a specialist in say "dog books" and have the equivalent of a Cesar Milan organisation behind me.

However, I do get a giggle from what I read here.  I don't believe as some are suggesting that there is nastiness here.  I think many of you have been on these boards for years and have brilliant insight into people, just from one sentence they type;  wonderful skill I would say and a very important one as a seller to be across all the "possibilities" both positive and negative.

And I'd like to read some more questions as long as the names are changed to protect the guilty !! lol

I hope you told them that Shelties are not suitable for small backyards.  They would be bored out of their brain and cause havoc unless the owners are prepared to walk them for several hours a day.

Shelties are small and there is no reason they could not cope with a small outdoors area if their needs are met and get quality time with their humans (NOT tossed into the backyard and forgotten). Some Shelties can be a bit barky. All sorts of things come into play regardless of breed - training, exercise, environment, genetics. Many dogs do just fine on a 30-60 min walk a day (or less often). I have numerous contacts in the dog world (including people who show and breed Shelties) if the OP would like more info or their buyer/enquirer genuinely wants info
