is this correct?
If i order a heap of Pokemon cards that say no returns accepted, then I swap out all the cards for fakes, then open an eBay dispute with the seller for a refund.
so there no protection for sellers? is this correct ?
seems to work in favour of scammers

Totally depends on which country they are coming from.
No returns does not mean much - simply for change of mind, etc - read up on it.
As for ' fakes ' - be very careful - it's your word against theirs.
You would have to provide explicit proof.

"seems to work in favour of scammers"
Sadly, yes it often does.
Were they picked up ?
How did the buyer pay ?
The buyer's bid on 274 items in that category.
Is there any indication in their feedback they've done this before ?

So, are you the buyer?
Do you mean ‘there is no protection for buyers?’
….. need more info

Unfortunately, new sellers are often taken advantage of and I foresee other problems for you....
as well as the pokemon cards you sold
Are you registered to sell and signed up for managed payments ?
You have free postage on items that would be costly to post / courier.
You haven't added a pick up option for the jack, only $575.00 by Couriers
And your AUSTRALIAN BUILT PACIFIC CONSTRUCTION BROOM is listed in US dollars

Yes, sometimes scammers can do this.
You can't just say no returns accepted. Most people know that in Australia, returns have to be accepted for faulty items & you can be doubly sure scammers know their rights.
All they have to do is open an ebay claim to say the cards they received from you were not as advertised-damaged or wrong cards etc & they stand a good chance of winning a claim. It is not as though ebay itself ever sees the items so they give the benefit of the doubt to the buyer in most cases.
I would guess that most buyers are honest, as are most sellers. But you'll always get a few people who will take advantage of the system.
I noticed that you (at least under this account) don't appear to have a lot of experience selling on ebay, yet when I checked what you have for sale, there seemed to be a lot of very expensive items. As a buyer, I would be wary but as a seller, I think you need to be very careful & double check everything.
You don't want to lose hundreds of dollars.
