Sexual wellness - is that Vaigra, Cialis etc. and what about condoms, a huge seller on eBay ?

Downloadable products and virtual items - does that mean software licences and game keys which are prolific SCAM items ?

Cave formations jumped out at me too. That will put a big 'hole' in my sales...

They'll probably take down London Bridge if you try to list it as well sc. You certainly won't get a "lift" out of that........

Re: the roll out of ebay managed payments

Given that everyone will eventually be forced into these payments, I guess it's goodbye to a lot of categories. Makes absolutely no sense why someone would no longer be able to sell something like coins because their method of receiving payments has changed.

Re: the roll out of ebay managed payments

I am wondering if this is actually legal to demand how we accept payments. Years ago they tried to make it payment by Paypal only and the ACCC ruled against it, So it meant we could accept any payment type. I wonder if the ACCC knows about this.

Not quite the full story there, the ACCC ruled that sellers had to offer at least one payment method that gave buyer protection, which meant that they didn't have to offer Paypal if they had Merchant Banking facilities (EFTPOS).

Sorry if this has been mentioned already

I noticed this little bit in the new agreement for refunds for the new managed payment conditions. Dissapointing if the refund is initiated by the buyer for change of mind etc

...... The fixed fee per order will not be credited.

So ebay took a leaf out of Payals book.

Another fee to factor in and push prices a little higher for buyers.

Its even worse for those that still get the payapl fee back and are being told the new system will save them in costs. End of the day the extra costs get added to the item selling price so will average out the same so as usual no real saving and a new revenue stream for ebay.

What happens about unauthorized transactions when a card is stolen or paypal hacked etc and the item is delivered with tracking? Bit concerning when eBay can't answer to AFCA
