what is going on with ebay ... so slow

ebay is so slow and messages sent to me yesterday are only being received today ...  

anyone else experiencing a slow ebay and delayed messages ???    

I have cleared cookies and history and I am using mozilla firefox browser

The only real issue for us here today was that I have been unable to log into the boards here. Other than that our sales were a bit slow today. Perhaps buyers were having troubles.

eBay have just posted on Facebook that the problem has been resolved.

Looks like it has definately scared buyers away from buying or there are still problems within the system.Sales down dramatically in the last week only one day where I had a higher than normal sales on Tuesday.

Messages still seem broken, I have multiple messages to different buyers that have gone unanswered. Also one buyer requested an invoice, but hasn't paid it. Another offered to collect an item, again no reply to my message.

Nice work ebay, break the servers, then go home for the weekend.
