If you list an item using eBay's sell your item option (blergh), the second last line before the commit button is to auto-relist (for free) 3 times.
This may, however, be feedback/experience related, as another member with over 1,000 feedback could not find the option recently.
So, maybe it's for newish sellers. I get it, one of my alteregos gets it, my main ID doesn't.

This is not eBay, this is a member board.
Bumping your post is not likely to attract kudos. If you were waiting for a response from eBay you would be waiting days. If eBay responded on the MEMBER boards, which they do rarely.

This might explain why the option has disappeared for some sellers:

Relisting an unsold item automatically
When you list an item, you can easily set your listing to relist automatically up to three times for free if the item doesn't sell. This feature is available to non-business sellers (sellers with up to 100 transactions and less than $12,000 in sales in a 12-month period).

That seems to be a new rule as it wasn't there 3 months ago when it started being offered on selected categories before it went site wide.
