why does Ebay automatically put that the item is sent when I print a postage label?

when I print out a postage label for an item, it automatically messages the buyer that the item has been sent.

and there isn't an option for me to change it.

sometimes I print the postage label out a day or two before I actually post it.

Go to Site Preferences > Postage preferences > Send buyer an email with postage information > click edit > untick box
