Ebay timing out when retracting a bid

Hi there

I am unable to retract a bid as a buyer. The seller has agreed to the retraction and asked that I click the retract button. I have used the web and mobile interface to try to do this, but it times out for both (has been doing this all day - on mobile internet and wifi). Grateful for help to resolve this. Order 284822796353.

Explain what's happening to the seller and get them to cancel the bid.

Edit. Have you tried clearing cache and cookies then rebooting your computer or trying a different browser ?

If you have an order number, then you have already won the auction, so you cannot retract.....just get the seller to cancel the sale

We are just ordinary members here, not eBay staff.

There have been other people with the same problem recently, so maybe there is a problem on their side.

I think the seller could still cancel your bid, but if not, maybe you can contact eBay via live chat during business hours (from the help page).
