What happened to quotes & paragraphs?

Any danger of returning the missing quote function, and also restoring the ability to leave a line break between paragraphs?

I'm starting to get a bit sick of having to create my own paragraphs with alt-255, and having to quote via cut & paste.

Is this intentional, or simply the inevitable result of yet another attempted "upgrade" failing spectacularly? 😞

Thanks Mary, I think we had worked that one out. It's seeing the whole thread that would be helpful.

In any case the new format seems to have disappeared today.
