On 21/10/19, I marked four (4) items as having been posted. 21/10/19 was the due date for those items to be posted. Today, 22/10/19, I checked my account and I saw that those items were no longer marked as having been posted! For some reason the ebay system reversed what I had done. I have therefore just marked those items as having been posted again but the 'date posted' is now recorded as 22/10/19 which is one day late. I know that the glitch in the ebay system that caused this problem will result in four (4) negative ratings against me for late postage.   Like all legitimate sellers, our performance rating is very important to us. Those items were not posted late and a check against the tracking numbers (added to each of the four sales records) will prove that. I therefore want ebay to amend the sales records showing that each of those items were in fact posted on 21/10/19.   In my experience ebay don't read (or care very much) about issues raised by sellers but just in case someone within ebay does read this, the sales numbers of the four (4) items that I have refered to are; 10-04015-77234 01-04016-60721 08-04018-35461 13-04025-32305   If someone can tell me how to fix this and other ebay system failures lately, e.g. I also can't cancel some orders placed by mistake by buyers at the moment, I would appreciate it.     Regards, Ed (ourpac) ... I ordered 4 drill bits. I got two only. I contacted the seller who answered in a couple of hours. He said sorry and how about he sends the missing drill bits to me now. I answered "NO" as I needed them now and without waiting another 10 + days to get them and I was going out to buy them elsewhere, and, that I wanted a refund immediately of the half the order that he failed to send.   That was over 30 hours ago and no refund and no further message.    I have tried 5 times in Ebay, to try and start a case for my refund of that 50% of the order. It keeps putting me in sections that do not relate to my problem and I feel i cannot proceed. So saying, I've looked for a phone number/email ad to talk to Ebay but there appears to be nothing. for some unknown reason since i clicked on the alert bell last night to check a message from an overseas seller, everytime i sign into ebay or change ebay sites it asks me to have them phone me a verification code to access my account everytime. this never used to happen, i just simply used to put in my user id and password and i was into my account. i cant have the phone ringing day and night waking the whole house up when all i want to do is access my account. has anybody got a solution. i gone to community forums and used solutions like clear cache and cookies, this just results in me having to race to other end of the house to get to the wall phone. i tried switching browsers. none of these fixes actually work. ebay help desk have got no idea and can only advise you on things that anybody who has ever used a computer for more than ten minutes in their lifetime would already know. the only advise ebay provides on signing in is make sure you caps lock key is not on. a person with an iq of zero would already know that. i cant leave the computer signed in all the time for security reasons and what good is it getting a phone call at home with a verification when most of the time i access ebay away from home. regards, Colin. The hijack screen would seem to appear at random, and varies. In the past it has announced  a WIN ERROR, the latest today displays a message from Windows Security Centre that my McAfee subscription ended yesterday. (thats odd, I don't even use McAfee). Whenever it occurs, my entire EBAY content is removed, the only display is the full screen display of the hijack screen. (see the attached screenshot).   Am I the only EBAY user experiencing this issue, or are there others - is my PC infected, or is it browser related?
