Anybody having trouble viewing pictures on ebay. It started when ebay changed the viewing of pics with the zoom option

I noticed over in the discussion forum there was an old thread about this issue, but it seems to have been closed with no resolution. I've had Firefox version 13 for several months now (at least) and haven't had any problems up until about 2-3 weeks ago. Since then, pretty much every time I go to eBay, Firefox just crashes and shuts itself down. It is usually when I am trying to type something into the search box. Is anyone else still having this problem or know what is causing it?

Problems viewing photos in e-bay pages

Hi i am having issues with my gallery pictures not showing large like all other gallery pictures on ebay. When you go into a live listing via ebay and click on revise to try to fix the problem (as you can not do this in inkfrog) you see your gallery picture, you click on add picture and 2 URL bars appears. Only 1 of these bars has the http: address of the picture. When you go into a listing via Ebay that is showing a big gallery picture (which is how it should be) there are 2 URL bars. 2 of these bars has the http: address of the pictures. This means all my small gallery pictures listed only have 1 bar filled in with the http address of the pictures and the gallery pictures that are working fine have the 2 bars filled in with the http address of the pictures. I checked most of the listings and this is the issue. Unfortunately due to this it is affecting our sales as our listings are getting visually lost as all the other listings on ebay have large gallery pics displaying. I have over 500 listings with this problem. I hope someone can help because inkfrog tells me its ebay that has the problem and im still waiting to hear from ebay. thanks Alex

When i first did my listing I put a buy it now price of $159.95 and a starting price of $119.95, for years I've listed the auction start the same as the buy it no price but ebay make you list it 30% cheaper now just so they can make it harder for everyone. I was listing a lot of items so I didn't notice at the time but this listing is now showing as an auction with no buy it now price and someone has bid on it. When I go to revise my item the $159.95 price is in the buy it now box but for some reason it doesn't show in the live listing. I've tried to cancel the listing which of course ebay won't let you do but it appears to be a stuff up in their system ? Any clues ?

Clicking on "Discussion Forums" under the "Community" drop-down menu takes you to "Discussion Boards" but only then allows access to "Trading on eBay" forum. Where have all the other discussion forums disappeared to? —TIA

Since last night (Fri), I am having heaps of problems with ebay. I am using Internet explorer, and often can't connect to the site. When I have connected, I have lots of problems: -I open a listing and the description is missing -I opened a listing and instead of my listing (a book) it opened up a listing for a camera (not my listing) - I can't search using advanced search - there are other pages I try to open, and just get no connection to the page eg a buyer's feedback I have cleared cookies and deleted history, I downloaded Mozilla Firefox, got a connection, but the 2nd time I used firefox it wouldn't connect to ebay. I get google and can open all other sites without any problem - its just ebay. ANY IDEAS WHAT IS HAPPENING OR ANY SUGGESTIONS WHAT I CAN DO? Thank you! Prue

I have to tried to click on an item ending soon , that I am watching and it opens the page but then goes to www.raptor.ebay.com.au and comes up with a DNS server issue for this site.

im all for upgrading, but who took down the location indicator from the side menu ? most people look in their area before branching further afield. now i find myself looking everywhere but my local area first. you now waste everybodys time and if you dont correct it.... will lose thousands of customers to gumtree or similar auction sites. the old system was better. PUT IT BACK

I'm trying to buy gifts here but everytime I save to watchlist it says it's saved then I go to it & all I get is an error message: "Some of your information is not available at this time. Please try again later." It's been going on for hours & I can't watchlist items at all, let alone, bid or buy them! kind regards

Has anyone experienced ebay running slow? It feels like it is draging 10 ton of chains. I have tried ADSL Connection, Telstra Wireless Connection and both are slow on ebay Any other site we go to is fine.

You were able to find items within a number of Klm from your home. That facilitiy seem to have been taken away. If you are buying an item that requires pickup then this is a very good way of finding an item that is resonable close to your home.
