Book Chain Game

It's Saturday night, I'm bored and can't be bothered listing so was perusing the US Book Readers Board and came across this game. So, I thought I'd give it a go.

Here's how it works:

I name a tile of a book, and the next person names another title that uses a word from my title. Like this:

My title:
The World According to Garp
~John Irving

Next person's title:
Around the World in 80 Days
~Jules Verne
(No using easy words like "the" or "of" or "and") If it gets impossible, name something by the same author.

I'll go first:

The Book Thief
~ by Markus Zusak
