I purchased item and on check out noticed it was pick up only Contacted seller agreed to relist it

I need help in fixing my account to reflect one of my purchases has been taken back for re listing , as when i was about to pay , i noticed it said pick up only . on the page i only saw postage free ......... I contacted the seller via Ebay Email , and they agreed to cancel and relist item . but it is still showing as It has been flagged to pay ASAP , so can you please help me through what i need to do to settle this. please check my emails for confirmation.Thanking you !

You are talking to other eBay members here, not customer support.

 

what you need to do is ask the seller to initiate a mutual cancellation request.

 

you then get an email asking you to agree to it.

 

agree to it officially, then the seller is free to relist, gets their final value fees back as a credit, and you are no longer obliged to pay for the item.

It is no longer the simple matter it used to be to cancel a sale. You need to go to the item in your Purchase History, and on the right-hand side you'll see a prompt which says Resolve an Issue. You need to click on that which will take you to the Resolution Centre where you then just follow the prompts. You'll need to send a message to your seller (even though you've already sent one) before you'll be allowed to Accept the cancellation notice. It's quite a tedious process now, but if done properly it will work just fine.
