I have a $1000 on afterpay, so I decided to use it on eBay
And make a purchase. Once I attempted to make a purchase, it keeps saying transaction failed, and to make a purchase of a lesser amount. So I attempted to make a purchase for twenty dollars and it still say, transaction failed. If afterpay is no longer the option, ebay should just take the link or option off of their platform.

What is your question for other members?
Have you tried contacting eBay or Afterpay
If it is an afterpay issue, you will need to contact them
Not up to eBay to decide what sellers accept and what they don't
Are all the details you are putting correct
I don't buy things I can't afford so have never attempted to use afterpay

Not up to eBay to decide what sellers accept and what they don't
Yes it is. They operate the payment portal.
Sellers get paid into their bank account regardless of what acceptable to eBay payment method is used.

Maybe I did not word my reply the right way
I am aware all sellers get paid into their bank account
However, I meant what payment options the buyer could 'choose from' on a listing for them to pay
be it afterpay, PayPal, credit card or whatever

Sellers don't choose to offer Afterpay.
eBay automatically shows it as a payment option on all eligible listings.
Sellers get paid in the usual way.
