Hey everyone,
I've had the auto-relist option in the Unpaid Item Assistant turned to YES for at least a year, maybe two. Unpaid items are meant to relist with this switched on. I have noticed in the last 6 months or so that eligble unpaid items only sometimes relist. This means there will be items that I assume have relisted but then have noticed they simply didn't. So these items are just sitting in my stock storage without an active listing, without me noticing! If it takes a long time to notice the unsold listing will then disappear too so I'll have to take new photos etc.
I have reported this issue through the help chat but thought I'd bring it up here, because it would be easy for sellers to have this happen without noticing, especially if you have a large number of listings. I will now take care to check on any unpaid items and relist them manually where needs be 🙂
For reference this is what the re-list function claims to do, copy and pasted:
"If you have single quantity auction-style or fixed price listings, they will automatically be relisted. If you have multi-quantity fixed price listings, the quantity will automatically be increased. Note: When an item is relisted automatically, regular relisting fees apply."
