Hi, first time poster, but I read from another poster that it’s best to ask questions on these forums than anywhere else.
so first off I’m not a seller (maybe someday), I did the trial for eBay plus back in 2020, decided I didn’t want it and totally forgot about it. I just today received an email saying I was billed on Dec 31 2021 for $48.99 AU which is about $35 USD, I'm in Australia btw. Not only was I billed and invoiced but they auto paid the invoice out of my payment method on file, not good.
I checked my account and I’m definitely not signed up for eBay plus as when I go to the eBay plus page while signed in it asks me if I want to do the free trial.
so my question is how do I get eBay to reverse and refund this invoice?
thanks

All very well to say you 'tried it and didn't want it' but the problem is, you're supposed to physically cancel your subscription.
Otherwise it just rolls over and they take the money for another 12 months subscription.

You can't just "forget" about it. You need to cancel it.
If you look at your Account Settings:Subscriptions - is there anything there?

You forgot about it. Ergo you DIDN'T cancel it. eBay have systems in place - maybe familiarise yourself about how they work. You're not exactly a newbie.
As an Australian posting on the Australian boards, what is the relevance of a rough conversion to USD?

Didn't they charge you before? If you had started the trial in 2020 and didn't cancel it, they should have charged you after a month. Have you looked at your old transactions?
Or did you indeed cancel (as stated in the subject of your thread) and just mean you forgot about eBayPlus in general? As you say you are not a member, maybe you did indeed cancel.
I would contact CS via live chat if I were you to clarify the situation.
