Thats because they have no interest in dealing with negative comments...thats bad to hear and we can't have anything thats negatively posted...because every buying experience must be reflected as a happy one....even if you were ripped off.

eBay are not really interested in anything other than positive feedback.
Their surveys are loaded so they can make changes claiming 95% of eBay members support said change.
As far as being ripped off, that is probably your fault. eBay's MBG, used as prescribed, makes it almost impossible for a buyer to be ripped off.
Why do you consider this a Technical Issue? This is a deliberate, built-in part of the site.

eBay customer service are a front-line defence intended to stop dead negative communication from its customers, and it makes sense that they discourage red stars being able to be given to eBay itself.

I forgot to add -
If you got ripped off, it is between you and the seller. It's not really anything to do with eBay. If you have evidence to the contrary, I'm sure I'm not alone in hoping for elucidation.

Giving the seller one star is enough of a negative.
You've left them negative feedback, what more do you want?
More than one seller recently, I might add.

And seems to 'need' feedback from sellers upfront. The 'Sellers take note' in most of their feedback says it is important to them. I'm not sure what they think they can buy with it.

But surely UPFRONT feedback is as good a reason as any to keep buying from Chinese sellers?
Personally I prefer to know what the quality of the item is like and how long it will take to get to me

Apparently it's some new technology type thingy, whereby you can go to dinner with your green dots. You've probably seen the ads on TV over the last couple of years for "first dates" or whatever it's called? This is the next step. You're not sent on a blind date, you actually get to take your feedback, given up front, on a hot date.
Occasionally, those green dots will even pay for your dinner! Sometimes those dots will even go to your place of work and do your job for you. They can fix your car, do your dishes, paint the house, feed the dog and cook for you.
Does it get any better? I wish my sellers would leave feedback up front. I am in serious need of a hot date with my green dots. I just want to slit my wrists when a seller doesn't leave feedback before I've even bought the item.
