Getting 'Pardon our interruption' message when attempting to scroll through search results.

'As you were browsing eBay, something about your browser made us think you were a bot. There are a few reasons this might happen:
. you're a power user moving through this website with super-human speed.
. you've disabled Javascript in your web browse.
. A third party browser plugin, such as Ghostery or Noscript is preventing Javascript from running.
Power user ? Been registered with ebay for 18.6 years & never been accused of that.
Have javascript running.
Unsure about any plugins haven't added anything lately.
Problem is the same in IE or Chrome - HAVE CLEARED COOKIES & REBOOTED.
No option to go through captcha.
Ebay - any suggstions ?

I'm getting the same problem from yesterday. I can no longer scroll through search results.

Have you tried the usual "fix" of clearing cache and cookies then rebooting your computer? Also if using IE as a browser switch to Firefox, Chrome or Edge.

Thanks, just clearing cookies did the trick. I should have known better ๐

Sorry, I was able to browse a few pages further then problem returned.

eBay do not read here (despite the blurb otherwise)
My only suggestion is try again tomorrow, Fridays are eBay's fiddle around day which causes all sorts of errors/gremlins/faults and stuff ups

Ditch IE for eBay, it hasn't been supported by them for many years. I use Chrome for the boards and Firefox for my usual eBay stuff with very few problems. As Sandy says it could still be the "Friday Gremlins"

This message appears to have been caused by Distil -- a third party tool that eBay and other sites use to prevent bots from scraping content. Sometimes it can be triggered by blocking javascript, by repeatedly interrupting page loads or by interrupting a page load in a very particular way by chance.
It appears that Distil has recently changed something, as there have been several similar complaints on the US discussion boards.
See this US ebay.com thread for some info:
