For the last two weeks now I've had people messaging me telling me when they request total, they're told I don't combine postage. I do combine postage. Turns out it's this error 80016 that stops it all dead in its tracks and forces the buyer to buy it in one go and then I have to refund the excess postage paid.

I speak to eBay and get told I'm priority, I'll get "an email" and other rubbish like that. Ebay and priority are poles apart when it comes to things like this. I'm tired of being fobbed off by them.

We have the same problem - the first we knew about it was a couple of weeks ago.

We're not running a sale.

Our settings haven't changed - in fact we went in and unticked the box, then re-ticked it to try and solve the problem.

eBay help couldn't (not surprising), and suggested we refund the excess postage (we always do). They also told us their teams were working on this "known problem".

We have no idea how many sales this has cost us, as most buyers just empty their carts and go elsewhere.

One prospective buyer (now blocked) condescendingly told us to make sure our settings were correct before saying we offer combined postage.

We're prepared to make up special listings, or refund overpaid postage, but we can't if a buyer doesn't let us know, which many don't.

Completely frustrating, and seemingly unable to be fixed.

Actually, just realised it's probably been longer than a couple of weeks - the last request for a total we got was in the second week of January.

Unfortunately not.

As you said, there has always been a problem requesting an invoice when using the app.

This new problem is on a computer, on the full site.

When a buyer clicks "request total" they receive an error message saying that the seller doesn't combine postage, even though it's been working for years, and none of our settings have changed.

Having the same issue too. Both as a buyer and seller.

Not running a sale, and as others have mentioned it is happening on the web version of ebay not just the app. Definitely have combined postage settings turned on as just last week i had a few people request combined invoices. As of today apparently i suddenly don't offer combined postage. Doing my best to help buyers get around the ebay errors but as someone above mentioned how many buyers are just deciding not to purchase at all rather than having to chase down some assistance. How many sales are we all missing out on? How many buyers are missing out on things they were hoping to buy?
