Error on Saving Profile

Hi All,

I am receiving the following issue when updating my profile picture & description for my ebay account:

'Error on saving Profile.'

Has anyone else experienced this issue. I recently changed my username (around 2 days ago) and have tried logging out and back in on both the desktop and mobile app.

Any solution would be great!

What operating system are you using on your desktop?

I have seen some recent complaints from ebay.com users having problems editing a profile page, but I have no problems editing my profile page using the latest version of Firefox on a Windows 10 machine.

I'm on Windows 10 for the desktop using Google Chrome as the browser - and ios for the app.

Have also tried on a different browser (firefox as suggested) and still receiving errors

I had the same 'Error on saving Profile' problem.

It turns out that carriage returns are a forbidden character in an eBay profile.

So if you have separated your 'about' text into separate paragraphs, just make it into one paragraph and you will be able to save it without error.

This really helped. I chatted with an agent for 20 min and they couldn't figure it out.  Found this right after and all I had to do was merge my bio into one paragraph.
